WHAT IS THIS! I am sooo disapointed this week! Have stuck to my points really well. I haven't went over my points all week! And I worked out everyday as usual!! Oh man this is getting to me. Yesterday I did two firm workouts, took my twin 3yr olds on a bike ride (which means I pulled them) for 35 minutes, then that night I washed my vehicle (by hand) and mowed the grass........in other words I didn't set down the whole day!!!! And only had a two point snack in the afternoon. I am following the weight watchers points system, have been for years until I got off track around Christmas time. But I have never went to the meetings. I can't afford to go, so I had family members teach me the points systems and bought the books and slide scale for points and workouts! I know the meetings would help me, but because we are on a budget, I just can't make it to them. I am sorry I keep going on and on, but I am getting sooo frustrated! I am going to keep going though. I do know one thing I do feel better this week. I feel like I am starting to see some definition in my arms from the firm tapes I am doing. Does anyone have any advice for someone like me that is shaped like a pear!!! I have terrible saddle bags! I used to do ta boe, maybe I should go back to that! I need a lower body work out that kicks BUTT litereally ahaha! I have the firm jiggle free buns and really like it, but I need more. Thanks for listening...........I will do this......I know I can!!!

Its not that you "will" do this- you ARE doing this. If you were at the meetings, they would tell you that the small fluctuations are standard, and keep your eye on your long term chart- not the tiny gains. Your workouts sound good, your doing the diet- one option is to switch to the core plan for a week, to rev things up. Another thing to try is like a "diet within a diet" such as the Ultrametabolism diet foods and supplements, and keeping within your points. I wouldn't do more than a week though, because its not necessary. Are you getting your healthy fats? Are you carb loading? Or loading on fruit & veggies? Even within WeightWatchers, too many sweets and carbs can sabotage you...Don't get discouraged, just keep truckin! ;)

Hi...i am going to tell you what they would say if you went to a meeting...USE POSITIVE SELF-TALKING FOR A POSITIVE FRAME OF MIND...we all know that losing weight is a struggle...you hang is there...you can do it...good luck

My mom lost alot of weight on WW...I tried it, but, it didn't work for me...so I'm on Atkins now and it's working tremendously...but what I learned from watching my mom, her weight fluctuated and in the end it really really came off and i'm so proud of her...keep doin' what ur doin...

It will come off...give it some time! The meetings are great, but you don't need them to be motivated. It sounds like you do a great job of self motivating! Just keep it up, I promise....the weight loss will kick in if you stick with it....it's just physics! Not that I am one to give advice...I can't stop cheating!

My guess is that for as much exercise that you've done, you've probably lost inches!!! Do you take your measurements??? When I did W.W. points many years ago I remember 4 weeks in a row only losing .25 and .5 lbs. I was so discouraged but kept motivated and that 5th week I lost 4 lbs. Stay focused and you'll see results eventually.

Guess what? I don't go to meetings either. I can't afford them either. This is my second time on WW... the first time I lost 35 pounds and have kept it off... now I am ready to lose the rest (80 pounds). I started back Jan. 1 and have lost 25 pounds so far. You can do it too!!! My three tips: 1) Make sure you are drinking 8 cups of pure water a day - trust me, this helps you lose weight and will also make your skin nice (as an added bonus) 2) Only step on the scale once per week and try your best to do it at the same time. I step on the scale naked every Sunday morning around 9am before I have eaten anything. That way you are comparing apples to apples each week. 3) Take a look at the people around you and get them involved in your road to success. I keep a counter on my desk at work so all my coworkers know how I am doing. My husband follows WW with me even though he doesn't need to lose any weight. The support is great and it will also help to keep you accountable... especially since you are not going to the meetings. I hope this helps... keep at it and don't give up!
