Up eight-tenths. Well, I am wearing a sweater. It's actually chilly today.

Work has been so all-consuming that my eating habits are in disarray. Too much takeout. I am trying not to eat too much, but I'm not happy with my menu. Mr Coco is extra busy too, so we're being lazy about cooking. This is not a good trend.

We were tired, but decided to stay in and cook tonight. We had a veggie potluck: eggplant with tomato sauce and cheese, squash sauteed with onion, and fresh jalapeno peppers coated in brown rice flour and flash fried in peanut oil. I always thought they were super hot, but really, they're mild enough to eat whole. Love those things.

I'm feeling better since I took a nap this afternoon. I really needed to recharge. Will prepare better meals tomorrow.
178.8 lb Lost so far: 33.2 lb.    Still to go: 28.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Eating out is a killer.. :P I struggle with that always

Ceebee, I was actually frightened when we ate out yesterday. I don't trust myself to make good choices all the time, and the place we went to -- a Mexican restaurant -- was very risky for me. I did help myself to more chips and salsa than I should've. But man those were good!

Just remember to look up the calories before you order. Some of them are so high they will scare you away from a bad choice. K8yk says take a portion of chips from the basket and put them on your plate - then don't reach for more. The salsa is practically a freebie. It's very low cal

Rune, that's a great idea about portioning out your chips first. I will be sure to do that next time. And the salsa -- I guess I could just take a spoon and go at it, forgoing the chips!
