Good morning!

It's Monday morning, and I'm back in the groove. :)

It was great having a 600 calorie day. It really wasn't challenging after all - even though I didn't have music practice (other than what I did at home) to keep my mind off the foods. They day went by without any trouble. I ended up at 625 calories - that's more than fine in my book.

I even drank one of my meals. I felt that I needed more protein than what the soups could give me, as they have almost none. It was a gym day, and I know that I would be drained if I didn't, and probably much more hungry to boot. So I decided to by a "sports chocolate milk", which is basically a 0,5% fat chocolate milk with added protein.

It cost me 300 calories, but gave me a good boost. I drank it over the course of about 30 minutes around lunch time, and it was just what the doctor ordered! It filled me up, gave me the sense of having a snack, and it was generally really good.

...

I was shocked when I weighed in yesterday. 87.7 kilos! I gained 2.2 kilos in ONE day! Even for Indulgence Day that was WILD!

Then, after yesterday's Low Cal Day, I am back down to 85.5 kilos. My fatpercentage today is 5.8%. I actually squeezed a reading out of my scale, as it was above 5%.

My buddy Iamachristianfreak asked me in the comments from yesterday's journal what my fatpercentage was on the day I went to the hospital a week ago. It was 9.8%. Now, remember that when my weigth fluctuates, so does the fat%, so it's not necessarily 4% less bodyfat just like that. But it definitely indicates that I lowered by bodyfat.

Of course, this is no longer the mission. The mission now is to find the level where I maintain, and then go a tiny bit above it. It's still a challenge to do so.

Today I have had breakfast, packed my lunch(es) and prepped the rest. Check it out:

Breakfast:

Two slices of rye bread
Two slices of ham (total 25g)
two slices of cheese
Two eggs.

2nd Breakfast:

1/2 liter of high protein chocolate milk
One slice of rye bread
Two eggs
One slice of ham (12g)

(this will be consumed throughout the morning. Not in one sitting - are you crazy?!?)

Lunch:

Two slices of leftover Millionaire's bacon
One cup of white rice
One serving of broccoli

Afternoon:

One apple
One banana
One slice of rye bread
One slice of ham

Dinner:

Two large meatballs (total of 200g)
200 g of potatoes
Gravy

Evening:

1/2 liter of protein chocolate milk.

...yup... I'll be waddling to bed. This is SO MUCH FOOD.

I'm mentally ready to not do this, but this is exactly what Nimm is talking about in his comments here and in the forum. Stick to it for three weeks, Keld, see where it takes you. So that's what I'll do. I'll have tomorrow's 600 day to be looking forward to. LOL.

For a moment I was actually considering adding another 600 calorie day to compensate for all that food. But of course, this would simply add 500 calories more to the OTHER days, making them even more impossible. Not an option.

...

I do see that in the future, maybe the solution eventually will be what I suppose "normal" people do - I take a couple of low days, and just eat until I'm satisfied the other days. Eat smart, eat right, and clearly I have PLENTY of room to eat until I'm satisfied. It's good to know.

...

I think I have a fairly easy day at work today. I have vacation coming up in a week, one week off just to myself, and I have to make sure my cases are ready and prepped for that. I will be spending time this week to look into that.

In a few moments I'll be heading out for my walk, then the gym. I'm looking forward to it.

Then of course, I have my weight loss class to teach this afternoon, and then coming home for my late chocolate milk and Game Of Thrones!

Today is gonna be a good day!

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Getting rid of the excess weight from yesterday already. Nice!
- The outlook to a great day!
- A positive attitude on finishing my food goals for today. It's gonna be rough. It's interesting just how much food I can fit into my RDI when I make wise choices. And still, I feel that I eat too much bread - but if it was replaces with veggies it'd be eating until I split open.
- Gym and walk!

Have a great Monday! Life is good!

EDIT:
An interesting little observation... Since I have switched the calories around, and incorporated the Low Cal Days, I find that my urge for sugar has severely diminished. Nice. :)
END OF EDIT.

2nd EDIT:
My protein supplements are in! Just got a notification that it's sitting by my front door! :) I can't wait to try them out tonight. I have "booked" 450 calories to try out one shake and one bar. I'll be looking forward to it, and crossing my fingers that they taste okay. Those two will be a whopping 53 grams of protein. Damn!
END OF 2nd EDIT.
