really annoyed now. whole week of diet and exercise for nothing!!!
142.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Just because you don't see the scale move, doesn't mean that things aren't happening inside your body. The scale is only one way to measure weight loss. I had a friend go down 4 sizes but didn't see the scale move for a couple of months. Many things factor in to the scale because our bodies hare made up of 60% water. So if you ate too much sodium the day before weigh-in, you may not see loss on the scale. Other factors such as lack of sleep, stress, medications, hormones, exercise, sickness, etc. all can affect the scale. It does suck when it doesn't move, but those who get to goal, are those people who keep going and don't let anything deter them. You know you had a great week and the scale will eventually follow. Sometimes we don't see the effects of our hard work till next week or later. Just stick with it and it will happen.
