It is a good day! Tired as all get out but I am awake and at work! I was a little worried about my weigh in this morning because I had four pickles (little ones, but still...) late Saturday night and boy was I bloated! Almost five pounds! It was gone this morning so... yay!!!

I start Phase 2 today officially but I did eat some whole grain mac and cheese over the weekend. And by a some I mean it was not even a 1/4 of a cup... I mixed my son's leftovers in with my bowl of broccoli and chicken. Yummy! I discovered that frozen broccoli and Schwan's frozen fajita chicken microwave well together. Throw them in a bowl, cover, nuke and instint lunch! So excited for the easy things, lol.

Recorded my progress for the October Counting Carbs Challenge and I am down in all areas but my waist... I am up an inch?!?! Oh well... I must have measured wrong *wink* *wink*

Glad to see you put your big girl panties on and made it to work today! *grin* I totally forgot (duh!) that pickles have lots of water retaining salt. They are one of my favorite snacks! Grrr-- Congrats on being down in all but the waist. I wouldn't worry about that one, you know the numbers on the tape measure like to run amok on occasion. Wait a week, give the tape measure a stern talking to, then try again!

Who knew pickles, so seemingly innocent, could cause such damage? 5 lbs??? Wowsers. Note to self: avoid pickles!

I sooo love pickles but I think it was a combination of eating them late at night and the amount that I ate, lol, that lead to the extra water weight... that is my story and I am sticking to it ;)

Great job on the loss! Wow! Pickles, who knew? You sure some of them weren't CHOCOLATE covered pickles? LOL. (that picture you posted still grosses me out! LOL)
