179.6. Supposed to go to my friend's house for Mad Men and bbq. Still working a lot and might have to cancel. I've got some tilapia I need to cook anyway. I need to remember to add more fish to the menu.

Just finished a bowl of yogurt and fresh peaches with granola. I've been trying different low-fat yogurts, and I think Cabot tastes better than Stonyfield. It's creamier and has about 30 more calories per cup.
179.6 lb Lost so far: 32.4 lb.    Still to go: 29.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hey COCO, I am going to my daughter's surprise birthday bbq today. It looks like it may rain here so that may be a surprise in itself. I enjoy Tilapia too, but we're having chicken and tri-tip today along with a nice green salad with all the fixing, homemade salsa which was my friends gift to me, she won blue ribbon at the Ca state fair this year for it! I love topping my salads, potatoes, eggs with the yummy tomatoe stuff! Thanks for the yogurt tip! TOWANDA!!!

Mmmm salsa! I've never made any, but now you've inspired me to do so because I have a bunch of tomatoes and serrano peppers that I picked up at the farmers market yesterday. I hope you get rain -- if you need it. And have a wonderful time at your daughter's party today! :)

Tilapia is a good start. I hope you find some more tasty fish choices. Most people don't eat enough fish - except if you live in the Pacific Northwest. You might check out recipes for San Francisco Cioppino - it's a great fish stew similar to some fish stews I ate in Venice.

I do like tilapia, but one of my favorite fishes is pompano. However, I am really concerned about eating fish and shellfish out of the Gulf of Mexico right now, even though "they" say it's all just fine. I doubt anyone can be certain of the amount of contamination caused by the dispersants BP used. I have heard of cioppino -- I recall my hubby eating some before and it had all kinds of shellfish (still in the shells) in a broth. I'm a lazy eater -- crab legs and clams are almost too much trouble for me!

I do not like tilapia at all.. I love fish when I go out.. but I am just not good at cooking it and I am not sure why. My city's rec and ed has a bunch of healthy cooking classes this fall and 2 are how to cook fish.. I am going to take it.. Have you tried chobani greek yogurt.. I love it. Peach flavor and blueberry are my favorite.. but they all are good.. (save for the honey flavor.. I just cant take honey.. it reminds me of cough drops)
