Ok, I told you guys that I started LA Weight Loss with my husband a few days ago, and that I wasn't really crazy about it. Jaqisbaq gave me some encouraging advice to stick with it and glean any new knowledge and tips I could get from it. Man, do I have a tip!! I was stuck at the world's longest plateau (for me, 175)FOREVER and honestly had no idea how to bust it. I worked out like crazy, ate right, and seriously didn't cheat for so long. But I was barely losing 0.5 lbs a week. I lost 4.6 pounds this week on LA! I'm not using any of their supplements, just regular grocery store food. And I know what I was doing wrong: I wasn't eating ENOUGH! I kept trying to shave a few calories here and there, tweak my work out.... It did get me under 175, but just barely. They put me on a plan that made me feel like I was eating all the time. I just knew I had gained at least a pound. But they said that, with my activity level, I needed to eat that many calories to burn more fat and calories more efficiently. I'm not on here to promote LAWL, but my tip of the year is to eat a little more and exercise a little more to start speeding up that weight loss. I was floored. :-)

OMIGAWD! My nose started to tingle reading that! Fantastic! Ok, before I have my second breakfast latte I'm going to put on some sweats and do the Carribean Workout that's on the TV in 20 minutes! Your tip came at just the right time! (read my latest journal entry and you'll know why! LOLOL) Can't wait to hear more! Congratulations!

BTW. I won't be leaving fatsecret...just taking a break from South Beach for a week or so.
