Day 42 (Week 6): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Top of the morning to you all!!! *Healthy thoughts and prayers* to all of you wonderful, health-minded, lovely FS peoples!

Once again I did a lot more than my self-imposed min 10 minutes on the Wii last night. I may have to up that goal next week :) I spent 24 minutes on the step games and 6 on Hula hoop (so 30 cardio) and the went to play in balance for 12. I am surprised that my balance is so out of whack according to it and my rhythm too...these are things i used to be very good at :( Ah well working on making it better :)

Old Man Scale was pretty flirty again, this morning. Holkding Steady at 249. I have never lost this much and this consistently after the first two weeks before, it's so amazing to me!!

So I also want to thank those who have tread in these footsteps before and proven that it CAN be done. And doing it visually and for all of us following in their footsteps to see! Reading your inspiring stories and seeing the wonderful pictures on a daily basis keeps my goals and dreams in sight so they do not go out of mind! :)


Floor Goal: 250 Done, D-done, Done, Done!!! 13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 17 down from when I first started watching in August.

Mid-range: 245 Turkey Day I am coming for you! 18 from beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and 4 from now. Goal date Nov. 1st (or sooner, if I want to make the ceiling goal too!)
Ceiling goal: 235 by the 30th of November. If my averages keep up, this should be no problem. It is a bit of a stretch, but that is what a ceiling goal is all about. :) 28 from challenge start, 15 from now and 31.5 from when I first started watching. ( I can feel this with my finger tips if I just r...e...a...c...h!
Christmas Challenge Goal:230 by December 25th!! 36.5 from when I first started watching. (Wow! the holidays might be rough, but I have proven I can bounce back from cheat days)

1st things first 245 then 240 then on down, down down!

using the wii is improvin on your body and all the movement you are improving on...way to go for that...you need to remember to challange your body so that the routine stays different and that way you keep improving as you go...sounds like your doing great already...just keep that body guessing!!!!

:) it IS fun! Tough in some repsects too, which is good. COuld you tap a parent for a combined birthday/christmas gift or something? Or mayben put away 10$ a week for 3 months? or 15 for two moths? That covers the Wii Fit. Do you have a Wii already?

I agree with you that the Wii and Wii Fit is great. And they are coming out with some awesome games too. I just splurged and got Wii Cheer and pre-ordered the Ultimate Cheer Championship - which also uses the balance board. I am so enjoying it.

I love to hear how happy you are about your weight loss!! I just bought a WII fit and wish I could find like a training program or something because I have no idea where to start. I don't have my Wii fit yet though bc it's in the mail somewhere...but I'd like to have a game plan and possibly eliminate the gym from my routine...to save money on a membership and gas of course. Plus, I'm hoping it's going to be alot of fun...my only concern is, do you really get a quality workout on a Wii Fit?

You get as much as you put in. The strength training is HARD! Aerobic, I bet a workout vid might be better, but it builds you up to the longer workouts (which I am not TO yet) so this could just be because it is early on. The balance games REALLY work your calves. So I DO feel I am working out.....

My wife picked one up the night they were released. She loves it. Besides weight training, she gets a great yoga session. I don't know who came up with this thing but they're great.

There may be one. I remember getting invited ot eitgher a group or challnege with the Wii before I got mine....I will have to look back into it.
