Day 37 (Week 5): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Good morning all you wonderful, health-minded, lovely FS peoples!!!

So I cannot believe it has been more than 5 weeks since I started this journey! It feels like I just started and I have been doing this forever at the same time. All those splurge days days and I am STILL doing so well. It is so true what they say about making the switch in your mind. You have to know it, to feel it your mind before ever you start. I have lost weight before, but I have never felt this good or content while watching. I don't feel deprived at all and it truly feels like I CAN and will do this for the rest of my life.

I did well on the veggie front. Had a 3 cup salad for lunch as well as an apple for snack and some grapes at dinner time :) No exercise yesterday, but I ate well and I needed a break anyway. I cannot go full throttle into daily strenuous exercise nor do I have the time LOL

My husband set up and tested the Wii Fit yesterday so I think I WILL hop on it tonight after all my appointments are done to see what it is like.

Old Man Scale was amiable again this morning!!! Down another 1/2 lb! weeee!!!

Floor Goal: 250
13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 16.5 down from when I first started watching in August, and .5 from now. Just a couple more days!
Mid-range: 245 Weigh in at 245 for Thanksgiving with my folks, which is 18lbs from the beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and 5.5 from now. The goal date is now officially Nov. 1st.
Ceiling goal: 235 by the 30th of November. If my averages keep up, this should be no problem. It is a bit of a stretch, but that is what a ceiling goal is all about. :) 28 from challenge start, 15.5 from now and 31.5 from when I first started watching.
Christmas Challenge Goal:230 by December 25th!! 36.5 from when I first started watching!! Isn't that exciting!!

1st things first. Get myself to 250 (.5 OMG!!!), then 245 then worry about the others!

I just love the attitude and confidence! That's how I've felt this time. Nothing can stop us! It's the shift in the mental process that makes the whole thing work. Here's to mental health! :)

So I do 20 minute son my Wii Fit. It's Really intriguing. I stuck tot he balance exercises tonight because I seemed lacking but man are my legs tired and I am sitting here at my comp still sweating so I was definitely doing SOMETHING. I counted it as pilates on my exercise calendar...I THINK that is balance. Anyone have a better idea?

So far it is very neat!!! I LOVE all the little baby goals like opening up new options and the bank :) I could see myself doing it almost like I have my steps in the pas, 5 minutes here and there adding up to a LOT! I still need to ry the other sections like yoga, cardio, and strength training. I am curious sicne I do a weekly yoga class I cannot even imagine who it is going to handle the poses we do LOL!
