Honey, this is normal if you weight like every single day. You will have fluctuations. Be patient. I am sure its nothing. TOM? Water? Increased or new exercise?

I measured myself too - and I have gained about 1cm everywhere :( I am crying so hard! I haven't cheated ONCE! And I exercise so much more than I used to. In 20 days I have lost no cm's or inches and have put on 200 grams. TOM - I thought it was that but it never started (nothing unusual there though). Till 2 weeks ago I never fluctuated up, it was a steady drop. Now it is getting closer to my 40th when I want to look good my fat is calling more to join it. I am exercising just as much as before I think, maybe a bit more but it is gradual = and I dont think 1.5 hours of wii-ing is excessive. My natural instinct is to start overexercising and undereating just to make something happen but I know I would end up even fatter then :( What a crappy start to the day :(

Are you doing strength exercises or anything that could explain muscle gain?

Oh, squiggly, I am soory that you are having this kind of day. I hav noticed that sometimes right before I drop several pounds I will gain a pound or two, then, whoosh, it is gone, taking a few of it's devilish little friends with it. Don't give up, if you are exercising and following your WOE to the letter, the weight will follow. We are right here with ya!!

yeah but only about once a week, and maybe moving some firewood. I walk mostly. This is from the last two weeks of exercising going backwards from yesterday... 1 hour 24 minutes wii fit workout and muscle training, 1 hour 30 mins moving and stacking wood, 2 hours walking around the mall, walking 1 hour 20 mins, 1 hour cycling, 1 hour 30 mins wii fit training and muscle workout, walking 30 mins, walking 1 hour 30 mins, wii fit training 1 hour 26 mins, gardening 10 mins, slow walking 2 hours, shopping/walking 2 hours, walking 1 hour 25 mins, walking 1 hour 23 mins, wii fit 1 hour and 47 minutes. So pretty steady workouts/walking really....

Stef, that's right. I do the same thing. Stall, slight increase then bam! Squiggly, there is also a good chance that you have gained some muscle.

thanks guys - you are all so supportive! Do you think not eating early enough in the morning could be a problem? I often dont feel like eating till around 8 or 9 am (and I get up at 5.50am every morning). I usually forget to take my advanced acidophilus plus pill till around 7.30 - 8am and then have to wait 30 mins for it to work.

Im not good at eating early either. But unfortunately what works for one person doesn't always work for everyone. You might just need to tweak a few things.

i never ate early either, until I read more about "breaking the fast". After a few days of force feeding myself early, even if it was just a hard boiled egg, or a string cheese, I then found myself hungry as soon as i woke up and was able to eat right away.

Feeling - did you find it helped with your weight loss? I actually woke up hungry at 4.40am but it was way too early and I went back to sleep LOL

squiggly if you are waiting on tom and he didn't come there is a very very very good chance you are retaining fluid! try cutting out your salt for a couple days or buying a diuretic. oh and i sooo feel your pain there is nothing worse than being good and your body becomes a traitor! hang in there hun!

Squiggly, I have been following it really closely too and the same thing happened to me, I put 1 of the 2 kg's back on then last week also put some cm's back on. But this week I finally lost one. Keep strong, you have all been my saviour in this and with sticking to it. I am here for you as is everyone. I am also coming up to 40th, but fighting to not be like this. Let's do this together.
