That is a great idea, daily weigh in is enough to drive a person crazy. I am the same way! Stick to your healthy nutrition and exercise and you will reap benefits.

Yes, only weight in once a week. I weight in every Thursday morning and it makes me anxious but, at least, it is not a constant disappointment. Good luck!!

For whatever it is worth, I weigh daily - but record once a week. That way I can "nip something in the bud" if I spot a bad trend, but it is not recorded so I am not discouraged by having to go on record with daily ups and downs.

I agree with BuffyBear, however I do record if it's a loss just because that is a reason to celibrate. :) Looking at your food diary, your sodium levels have been higher last few days. May just be you're retaining water. Drink water to lose water weight (sounds backwards). Have a great week!

Thanks everyone. Will probably do as BuffyBear does - weigh daily to keep on track but record weekly. I took a deep breath and reminded myself I have lost a healthy amount in the last month, and one month from now will be saying the same thing.

I weigh daily also; you just have to be able to handle the ups and downs, and realize your weight is going to fluctuate up, as well as down, even when you're losing. Some record daily, and some record only the losses, and some only record once a week. I like weighing daily because sometimes I might actually weigh less in the middle of the week, and if I didn't weigh every day, and I had one of those "upward" fluctuations on Friday, I would be more discouraged, if I hadn't seen a drop earlier in the week. Hope that makes sense.
