Good morning, Friends!

Wow, what a weekend!

Weight is up - as expected after Indulgence Day - but nothing more than usual. I'm perfectly okay with that, but naturally, I can't wait for it to dome down and I reach a new low. I'm gonna work hard on this.

An extra motivator to do this is that I screwed it all up yesterday - even if I had saved up some extra calories over the week - I spent them on sugar junk that I really didn't need. I probably killed an extra 1000 calories on this. Booo. Oh well, today is a new day, right?

The weekend was awesome.

My buddy from old times was visiting and staying from Saturday to Sunday. Wife made Tex Mex, and we had so much food food and also a few beers and chips. I hope the chips were extra salty and that this counts for some of my weight gain! LOL. I wil much rather that it's water and not fat that I gained. :)

Anyways, he was here, we talked until the wee hours Saturday night and went rockin' with Burnin' Live all of Sunday. So much fun!

Yesterday, I had crazy sugar cravings, and I was NOT able to resist them. I had chocolate, way too much of it, and I really am annoyed with this. I know better, but I just didn't stop myself from doing it. Today, I feel that I have a much better grip on it all, and I have no urge again.

I wonder what caused it? Was it the hearty Mexican breakfast (which was perfectly okay on the calories)? Or was it the salty chips, the beer or the good food from the night before? I'm not sure. Maybe it was just me subconsciously missing something sweet? Or was it maybe because an extra day went between my workouts and they came too far away from my immediate thoughts? Or was it simply because it was Sunday? I have no idea. Fact it, I had cravings that I haven't had for a week or two, and I gave it.

Today, no urgers for sweets. I had my fill, and I'm good.

I went to the gym this morning, which is why my journal is up late, and it felt awesome. I can really tell I am progressing - I am already lifting an pushing more weight than when I started a few weeks ago. I can, however, also tell that it has been an extra day since I did it last. Maybe I should consider going 4 times every week instead of three, simply to avoid this.

Just had a thought about the cravings. Maybe it could be because I didn't drink as much water over the weekend as I would normally do over the weekdays? It's been a strange week, last week, since I've been out sick.

I feel much better. Tonight, will be done with my penicillin, and I can tell that it's had an effect. I still get stuffy-nosed, but nothing more than I normally to. I tend to have a little bit of allergy that I have simply learned to live with. It's not big deal. As long as it's not killing me like it was before I went to the doc.

So, today is a quiet day at work. I have a phone interview to do, and a lengthy afternoon meeting, along with some administrative work. Nothing I can't handle.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Surviving an AWESOME weekend!
- Hitting the gym!
- Coffee!
- Already dropping a few hundred grams (even after stupid decisions yesterday) after Indulgence Day!

Happy Monday! Happy week! Life is good!

Hi Keld! You may want to get probiotics after antibiotics! The latter ones really mess up the healthy bacteria in your guts. And probiotics help getting more nutrients from food, that might help also against cravings. Have a nice day!
