181.2 ... down another 1.4 lbs??? Are you kidding??? Wow. And I ate two chicken thighs, two legs, and a breast last night for dinner!!! I was HUNGRY. Oh and 1 dinner roll with a little bit of gravy to dip it in (no butter).

Anyway. I was indeed surprised. Sort of thought I might see a fluctuation up today because it has been going down, down, down all week.

We have nothing exciting planned for the weekend. Bob is working today for someone whose daughter was getting married so right now it is just me and Blue with the coffee pot perking on the stove in the background. I slept in until 7:30 (I am usually up at 4:15 each morning) and it felt decadent!! I want to put some things on Ebay for auction, just stuff we have scattered about the house, kids clothing from when our granddaughter lived with us, knicky-knacky stuff, clothes that are too large for me now ... we'll see how they do.

I'm going to finish watching Extraordinary Measures while I do my elliptical this morning (after breakfast because if I haven't mentioned it I am STARVING!!!!). Watched the first 40 or so minutes yesterday - I am enjoying it.

So, it is Saturday morning, the sun is shining, and I am at home. Does it get better than this??

1. I am grateful the coffee just finished perking which means I'll soon be sipping my first cup of the day!!!

2. I am grateful for the decline on the scale this week.

3. I am grateful for very good dreams last night!!

4. I am grateful for conversations with friends I enjoy.

5. I am grateful for these 2 days off of work!!

Have a good weekend, a lovely Saturday and Sunday!!! Let's admit it. It is easier to be kind to ourselves when things are going "well" than when we are "struggling." When we believe we have done something we should not have done, eaten something we should have passed on, those are the times we may tend to beat ourselves up. I am NOT suggesting you tell yourself "good job" when you err. No. Not at all. I am suggesting being kind ... taking it in stride ... accepting that you are human and fallible ... realizing EVERYONE makes mistakes. Enough kindness diatribe for the morning!! ENJOY!!!

LOL Sarah!!! Yea ... it is so strange isn't it?? Wintergirl ... thanks!! However I have 'hit my goal' MANY times!!! What I REALLY would love is to be BELOW that blue line and keep it there most of the time with 185 being my 'panic' number!!! It does feel good though ... I must admit!!!

Very nice! Now if only I can accomplish a similar feat after eating spinach enchiladas and drinking margaritas this evening ;) Not likely considering the salt I intend to consume! Have a great weekend, there appears to be some kind of tsunami in your ocean waves weight chart ;)

Thanks all!!! I'm sitting here, waiting for my dinner to cook and SO HUNGRY!!! YIKES!!! I did just cut up a juicy orange flesh honey dew melon so after my very special Lean Cuisine (LOL) if I am still hungry which I anticipate I will be ... perhaps some melon is in order!! I've made it as low as 177 point something before ... I'm really craving seeing those numbers again and lowering the top of my range. Not that 5 lbs will make that much difference on my frame but still ... it would be nice!!

Your words are music to my ears! I so enjoy coming to your journal...I know I've told you that before, but it's so true!! Last week was rough for me and I needed to read the last part of your journal. You always remind me that I need to be kind to myself. That is one of the hardest things I've learned in this process. I am such a perfectionist so when I mess up I often get discouraged and just give up. But I am in a different mind set now. Thanks to all of you wonderful people, my struggles are just that...and then I pick myself back up and move forward!! You have less than 2 pounds until you reach your goal! Isn't that wonderful!! Congrats!

Knick Knack item I am in pursuit of. A red glass Fenton shoe. Do you have one, lol? Never hurts to ask. I am doing pretty much the same thing this weekend, Clearing out some things that have been blocking my good energy:) Thanks for stopping by my journal yesterday as I have replied to your question there. It is really pretty funny. Towanda!!
