I'm excited about almost breaking 190. I think the last time I weighed less than this was in 2005. We had gone to Ireland for our anniversary and were fit enough to climb some steep trails at Gleninchaquin. I was proud until we met up with an older couple from England (maybe around 70 yrs), and they had done the same thing, only the husband had had heart surgery a few months prior. I realized my fitness standards are pretty low.

Why am I sitting here in an air-conditioned house and sweating like a fiend? It's got to be either hormones or a higher metabolism maybe? Wishful thinking.

Went to our favorite home-grown food restaurant last night. Next time, I have to tell them to not put the orange roll on my plate. If it's there, I have a hard time resisting. Thank goodness it's very small and not epic Cinnabon proportions.

7:50pm Just saw this vegetarian cooking show and the lady was making cannellini beans sauteed with red onions, garlic and broccoli rabe. It looked fabulous. She was also extolling the virtues of fresh fennel. This whole show was about eating foods good for your liver. I need that to reverse the NASH problem.

It's really great to turn back the clock, and reach a weight you had when you were younger.
