Surprised, Shocked, Happy, Re-Charged, Excited.. Can't believe I lost after last weeks small cheat and my mental challenge of thinking of sweets.. We will see what happens at end of week.. TOM coming and small slip up tomorrow.. I will have blackeye peas for the New Years Celebration!
182.6 lb Lost so far: 22.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yay Dorothy! So happy for you! Look at you at the half-way mark: 27 down 27 to go. As for me, I'm went to Walgreen's today and bought some of that much-ballyhooed Russell Stover sf candy. (got the toffee, on sale 2 bags for 3 bucks) I ate one serving earlier. Do you think it takes two servings to make the whoosh? You messed me up by eating two different kinds. Now I can't base my "science" experiment on yours. lol jplay! Have a happy new year! I'm off to a bonfire.

Oh and also, to answer the question that you asked somewhere that I can't find now to save my life ... Yes, if the SF candy has a laxative effect than the carb impact is minimized for you. So count the net carbs as you normally would and be sure to subtract the sugar alcohols, too.

Thank you lbsgoner!! Yes I couldn't believe it when I got on scale.. Today I did the expected.I did eat some carbs.. no sweets... I went well over the 20 net carbs limit but the calorie intake was low.. Oh well.. I know what I have to do.. I'm strictly in on "our" plan starting tomorrow! I had: Black eyed peas, greens, 1 small piece of fried chicken, and 1/2 cup of stuffing.. Personally I don't think its that bad as far as the food but like I said those carbs added up and I do mean added up! Ahhww YESS!!! I sure did ballyhoo about that candy (heeheee) That doggone Russell Stover candy I was at Walgreens tonight picking up diapers for the grandson - strolled through the candy aisle and yes they had that same exact sale! I wanted to pick up a bag so bad.. They also had the Turtles brand too.. I was quite surprised the Walgreens had a better selection pf sugar free candy than the Ralphs grocery store... Anywho I didn't pick up anymore but I know where to go when I need too.. lol lol.. hopefully not tomorrow.. Did you see that big variety pack?? goodness.. I only ate one serving of my toffee squares and 1 serving of the pecan delights.. Sorry I messed you up on the science experiment. Toni, thank you ...I appreciate the well wishes.. and thank you for breaking down the answer for me - in reference to the laxative effect. etc etc.. Well at least I know that "the candy" will help me in a stressful stopped up time of need! lol lol.. and Yes, I did calculate the formula by subtracting the sugar alcohols.. Thanks I hope you ladies had a wonderful 1st day of the year.. Tomorrow is another day and I'm ready!!
