WHAT THE......
What am I doing wrong?????? Up 3 pounds. THREE pounds. Yes on Saturday I did have cheesecake brownie and carrot cake (a few bites of each) BUT NOT 3 lbs worth. My calories were slightly high, BUT not ridiculously high.
I want to jump up and down and scream..
and to top it off my head hurt a bit yesterday and I woke up with it feeling like someone was taking a baseball bat to it and my neck is really sore. Dr. says that is to be expected and to take ibuprofen and take it easy for a few days. He said I can do cardio but he does NOT recomend weight lifting.
At the moment I am not sure I can do cardio with how much my head is hurting but I am PISSED that I am up 3lbs.
UGHHHH *jumping up and down throwing a temper tantrum*
I guess that is not helping my headache much. I will drink more water, have a healthy salad with 1/2 dressing and do soup for dinner so I will have a very low calorie day. Maybe that will help some.

Google "why the scale lies". It will give you insight in to water weight gain and fluctuations. If you weigh daily, you need to expect fluctuations.

I agree, a few bites of cheesecake and a brownie will not put on 3 pounds but the additional carbs could make you retain water. These flucuations are why I don't weight myself everyday.

I've had that happens to me every once in a while, then drops off in a few days, or even the next day. It is frustrating, but if you can let it go, it the added weight won't stick around. I've been eating some fairly high-sodium meals lately; gained 3+ pounds a few days ago, but it's gone now. Don't let those 3 pounds get you to think what's the point or they will stick around! I know you won't; you're doing pretty well. Hang in there.

I talked to my sister and she said the inflamation in my neck and back from the car accident can also cause a weight gain because it is holding water as well. What are your thoughts on water pills like diurex

I think thats a bit drastic, wait for the swelling to go on its own. Just remmeber water weight is not fat.
