Disappointing results this weigh in. 0.4 lbs. I'm going to chalk it up to either water retention (sodium was crazy-high yesterday at over 6000 mg) or muscle growth or both. I was just as good on calories and exercise as the prior week. In fact, I was a bit better.

So I'm looking forward to a big loss next week.
347.0 lb Lost so far: 17.0 lb.    Still to go: 97.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

A gain is part of the weight loss journey. It happens sometimes when you do everything right. You can also see a loss when you overeat. Weight loss is strange. Just stick with it and hopefully you will see a nice loss next week.

Thanks, Suzi161. It was only mildly disappointing. And you're right on. I had a full turkey dinner Saturday and some less-than-healthy foods on Sunday. Surprisingly with only moderate portion control, I did stay under my "cheat day" calorie goal on Saturday and didn't go too far over on Sunday either. Yet this AM I was about 2 lbs lower than Saturday morning. Go figure.
