My, oh my, oh my, oh MY! Talk about gain weight over the weekend! I'm afraid I let my guard down and indulged in more than one beef steak and even caved to a 'snicker blizzard' from the ever FORBIDDEN Dairy Queen! I have NO idea why I had to have that blizzard other than I felt the need to indulge my sweet tooth. As far as the steak goes, beef tends to weigh heavily for a few days for some reason. I try to not eat beef very often but those steaks were frickin' GOOD! Oh, and had some beef burgers Saturday evening, too. (At BullyT's house...wonder if she shows signs of the beef intake as well.) ;0)
Well, back to the drawing board. It's a new day! No sense in dwelling on the past.
I also start my vitamins up again for another week. Can't wait to see how they help.
Plan to make those yummy 'cheesy bean burgers' for breakfast this morning. Added some fresh rosemary (from BullyT's garden) and some fresh basil to the mix. Should be yummy!

Hope you all enjoyed a beautiful weekend! It was a bit hotter than usual yesterday. Our house felt like an oven by early evening. It feels good to have the cool air blowing through our house this morning.

A single low day will take out that bad weekend. You will be fine.

veggies yuk...I'm taking "orovo detox". I call them vitamins only because I don't know what else to call them. They consist of the '10 superfoods', in concentrated form, along with 31 other vitamins and minerals...including green tea. I guess the guy who discovered the '10 superfoods' was on Oprah a while back and that's how the lady came up with these 'vitamins'.

I know that most meat, requires "rotting" in our guts before we can absorb and pass it. =D Y U M M Y, eh?? lol However, I usually have leaner cuts and they don't usually affect me much. That being said, ... I didn't so good this weekend, in general! lol I'm not worried, it'll be gone in a day or two. ;) MmMmm... update us on them cheesy bean burgers... I need to make some, maybe tomorrow! It's not supposed to be so hot! You shoulda brought your suit for a dip yesterday!! =D Can't wait to try my mexican version cheesy bean burgers, but yours sound delicious, too! Feel free to come over for a dip tonight, too! :) It's okay girl, we'll be heading down again soon!! Water, water, water.... glug, glug, glug, ... can I just "swim" in mine??

do they really speed up your metabolism...do you have more energy

veggies yuk, yes, I believe it does speed up my metabolism. I was very pleased with my weight loss while taking them. And, it provides a nice bit of pleasant energy...nothing like caffeine or artificial stimulants. About the best way to describe it is that I don't feel tired during the day, I don't feel a roller coaster of energy drops, and I just feel motivated to do things even after work! My brother-in-law commented that he couldn't believe the energy I still had on a Friday evening (to weed his mother's flower beds), following a work week. I couldn't explain it other than the weight loss and the 'vitamins'. =) It could just be coincidence, too, as I've changed my eating habits a lot. I've cut out most lattes and chocolate and am eating a more balanced diet of fresh foods.

BullyT...yep! Got my 32oz bottle out and it's full of WATER! =) The cheesy bean burgers were YUMMY! Nice sweet, fresh taste. Only down side was they were sloppy and wouldn't stick together as burgers.
