Wow!

Today is a great day already, and it's only 8 am!

In had no expectations of any weight loss today for several reasons:

1. Massive weight loss yesterday. A full kilo dropped.
2. Half a pizza for lunch. Pizza generally lows me down and immediately messes with my weight.
3. Uncertainty of how my body reaction my newly developed weight loss system. It's obviously trial and error time and I literally have no idea what to expect.

However, I am down a full kilo! Again! Woohoo!

Checking with my fat percentage, it's not ll fat loss. There is clearly some other factors in there too, and I'm sure a lot of the weight lost is water.

It is, however, a remarkable weigh in for several reasons:

1. A full kilo lost, Two days in a row is not happening very often.
2. Weight loss after eating half a pizz NEVER happens. Until now.
3. I'm out of the 90 kilo range for the first time in months!
4. New low!

Of course, today is Indulgence Day. Yup, those are incorporated into my new weight loss program too. I like those, and hope to see that they fit into my system, so today I'm trying it out, just like always.

So, today I have 3600 calories i can spend as I see fit. That should be more than plenty.

I'm writing while on the train today. Wife and I are going to Copenhagen, to do some Christmas shopping, and to go to the giant Christmas exhibits at an old, classic amusement park. It's gonna be a great day. I'm gonna attempt to enjoy it within too many dumb food choices, even if those are allowed today.

After my fasting day Thursday, I really feel different about eating. I felt it ever since. I'm not as eager to get to my meals, and they just aren't as important to me. It's strange. In feel it significantly. Normally, we'd but some snacks for the two hour train ride to Copenhagen, and it would be okay as we always go on Saturdays. Indulgence Days. But of course, it's still relatively silly to spend your calories on useless junk early in the morning.

Today, I got a huge bottle of water and a large coffee to go. No calories worth mentioning. I don't even feel that I want the treats - 26 and that is something that I have been struggling with a LOT recently. Yesterday and today, that's all gone.

So, today will be a day with a lot of walking. I'm looking forward to it. It'll be lunch and dinner on the town, and a cafe visit, hopefully hanging with my nephew and his girlfriend, if we can get our schedules to fit.

I've been reading up further on the intermittent fasting. Knowing now the things I didn't know before, I think this will be an interesting journey. I am still not fully sure how many "fasting days". I'll be having long term. (I'm putting the words in quotation marks, as consuming 600 calories on a "fasting day" in my world isn't really fasting).

I read a lot about the benefits of intermittent fasting, the significantly lowered risk of major illnesses like diabetes, cancer, alzheimer's, etc (Which are all non confirmed in humans still), roaming i also read that some people find it hard to do two "fasting days" per week. Obviously I don't know how I will take to it, but I do read about mood swings, and other negative effects. Then again I also read about amazing energy, well being and so much more. I'll have to simply evaluate on the fly. If I start being a pain to my surroundings, then I'll change it. The thing is, according to "Eat, fast, and live longer", you need two "fasting days" to fully get the benefits. If that's the case, why go for less, right?

Today, I'm thankful for:
- under 90 kgs!
- being mentally prepared to be over 90 again tomorrow because of Indulgence Day. I know it's gonna happen and I know why it's happening. These are essentials to a good weight loss system. Now how your body reacts to your actions.
- an awesome day with Wife!
- having a blast developing a new weight loss system for me. And hopefully for others too, if I get it right.

Have an amazing weekend. Life is good!

Keld that's great. I might be game for the plan but you'd probably have to help me with my calculations. The stress of my DH's recent news medically has majorly impacted my ability to think clearly. Actually left my wallet at Walmart yesterday. YIKES!!!! I'll look for you tomorrow. And thanks Keld ... for taking the time to encourage me. It means more than I can express.

Moose, I'll be more than happy to share my "secrets" with you. Give me a couple of weeks to track my own progress, so I can see what this actually will do to me, and I will jot it all down, and help you with the calculations. They're not that hard - it's not exactly rocket surgery. ;)
