If you aren't already doing it then maybe try mixing up your exercise (if you are doing the same routine). Definitely upping your water will not hurt. What does your sodium intake look like?

Hi Jaime, Yessss I need to do better with the water.. I am trying so hard.. I make a note of it in my check in and journal everyday so I can remind myself to drink a cup of water.. As for the exercise.. I just started Oct. 15th.. I have been very sedentary for the past 2 1/2 years. I'm not able to stand for long periods of time. I have a very bad back, have been diagnosed with scoliosis and it has progressed into arthritis in my lower back :( So when I was finally able to purchase this recumbent bike on craigslist I have been so so happy.. So I say all this to say - I'm kinda limited to my exercise routine.. So the bike it is for right now.. My sodium levels - hmmm I have to check that.. I'm sure it's high.. I don't add alot of salt but I don't leave it out.. I am a fan of hot sauce (any kind) .. Thanks for your advice/input and let me know what you think..

I totally understand with your limitation and good for you for what you are doing!! I love hot sauce and most of it is packed with sodium. I used to be a salt fanatic and added it to everything that I cooked or ate. I have not done this for MANY YEARS, but even without adding sodium it is so packed into the foods we eat. So it definitely could be a culprit for you. Just hang in there!

I have this 64 oz water bottle that I got from Wal-Mart. It has a handle and a straw. I actually purchased two and I fill them both up the night before with ice and water and leave them in the frige so they are ready to go in the morning. I drink both of them everyday and its easy to remember because its sitting right next to me. Only 2 trips to the kitchen and I know I will finish my water for the day. Also, there are times when even if I am thirsty, I am too lazy to get up and this helps eliminate that problem because like I said only 2 trips to get my water.
