This make a total loss of 21.2, only 6.8 mor lbs to get out of the 140's which I have not done on over 12 years!I should see it by the new year. It seems so easy after the fact! But when you are at the bottom of the mountian just starting to climb you think you will never get there. I hope that these changes are fot GOOD and that I never have to be back at the place agian!

I didn't think I was going to get to record a 146 number today. We went to a friends last night and she served hamburgers......should be ok right? Well I didn't realize until I took a bite that she had but oats in it as a filler! That is the first grain I have had in almost 4 months! I thought I would see something on the scale today. But it looks like it was a small enough amount and that it didn't affect me!

I have been trying to be a little more careful. Not easy to do when i feel like I stick to this thing like glue!=) trying to drink more water and watch the processed meats. Hopefully I can push through and see more loss this week. 1.8 to go now 13 days. I CAN do it.

I think that it is interesting that I started this year with a New Years resolution to lose weight. I cut out all sugar. and tried grain. It took until July to really get it right. After a pretty large wieght gian going back up to 168! But I wll leave this year hopefully out of my 140's and at my lowest weight in 12 years! It was a good and yet hard road. I can't wiat for next year to be the first year that I didn't have a bunch of weight to lose, I will jsut get to work on maitnace. I still will eat no sugar and probly try to not eat any grain for the year.
146.8 lb Lost so far: 8.2 lb.    Still to go: 21.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wow! Great job! You can do it. Your post is encouraging to others who may have a "false start" or two (or three). ;) I'm really excited to see your success.
