Official Weekly Weigh-In

I can't pretend I'm not disappointed with a paltry 0.4lb loss this week, especially when I've been so good all week. However, I was relieved to see something lower than 145-something at last this morning - let's hope I can now battle down to the 130s without too much further delay!

It was a lovely weekend here - much better than had been forecast, so after a fairly lazy day on Saturday, we got back out in the back garden again yesterday and tackled the terribly overgrown sunny side! We made good progress, although the far left of the picture shows just the start of the scary jungle bit...

Hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to start another brand new week! :)

No need for disappointment Lucybell, you are progressing steadily and need a break from time to time. The slower you lose the more likely it will stay off. Keep up the great work! :-)

You're rockin' it girly! :) Love the pics of the yard work! I didn't get near as much done as I'd have liked to, but we got some stuff done, non the less, in the heat! lol Keep up the great work!

Less than 12 lbs to goal!!! You're doing fantastic! I love your yard - so beautiful and green. Lol at the "scary jungle bit". I can envision you donning your pith helmet as you "enter in" :) Enjoy your nice weather!

I feel the same way when I've been good all week and don't see that number on the scale that I want to see. But you LOST and that's a good thing. You're getting there! Good job!

Thanks everyone - I know I am getting there, I'm just getting impatient to get to goal and start the next challenge: maintenance!! Evelyn - you could be just right with that visualisation, with all the stinging nettles and brambles that lie within, the joys of living next to a woodland copse! :)

Thanks everyone, and Cheryl - that's what everyone keeps saying, which is lovely, although means I'm no longer getting any more support from my family/friends to lose the last little bit... Melody - thanks, yes a good drop today, which I failed to journal about! I've been on a training course all day, and I'm about to do tonight's workout, so I won't get too much Fatsecreting in, and I feel guilty if I write a journal that lots of you comment on if I know I'm not going to be able to return the favour!! :)

Woohoo... come on down!!! ;o) So thrilled for you to see all your hard efforts pay off and those scales drop so nicely for you today... great work!! Ooh, it's exciting isn't it and I'm getting impatient about getting to goal too... but we can do it! You just keep up the great work there and closing that gap. ;o)

Hasnt anyone noticed the picture????? Its such a gorgeous garden and a beautiful pic. I feel homesick *sob* I am coming over to stay-when the dollar actually can stand up to the pound! Last few pounds are always the hardest-they are tucked away in the abyss of some hidden lands within us, making it hard to track down and obliterate! But you are almost there..and if you can make it this far, you will get there! Take care and have a little picnic in the garden with strawberries and cream for me!

Sue - thanks! I am trying hard to close that gap again, if you wouldn't mind slacking off for a couple of weeks, that would be a great help!! ;o) Nisa - I did get some comments on this garden piccie, plus it's not the first one I've posted, so most people had already paid my garden lots of compliments!! We'll definitely be having a few picnics on the lawn, probably starting with Finlay's 2nd birthday party in a few weeks time! :)
