June 29 was my last weigh in and I am proud to say that I have managed to keep the pounds off that I lost in May!

I have been through a few difficult weeks: in June there was packing for my move to Atlanta, and there was a family vacation that was really centered around food and relaxation. Then more packing. In July there was the move to Atlanta, and a family reunion that was really really centered around food all day long. Also in July was the stress of the new manager. In August, my landlord started showing her butt and combined with my manager there just seems to place to go that is peaceful. In September began the house hunt.

I have had so many opportunities to develop bad habits. I bought a bucket of pretzels to snack on during the week and blew up four pounds right before my period due to water retention. They were gone by the end of my period but it really bothered me, and my reflection did too.

One of the things I have been most proud of is my activity level. On the weekends, I have started going on really long treks - lik 7 to 10 miles long. I might run some but its mostly about discovering the city. Recently I started running on my lunch break since this company has a gym and showers in the basement. I'm doing 3.2 miles +/- three days a week. I also am taking advantage of a Groupon for Zumba classes.

I am taking a number from one of my coworkers who has lost more than 80 pounds. I am not going to concentrate on my weight. Weight loss is a benefit. I am just going to focus on staying active.

What I really want right now is to get into a size 12. I thought my coworker and I were the same size until she told me she was a size 12, and found a pants in a size 10 that fit her. I was shocked and almost got depressed because I thought we were the same size. I'm a 14/16. So, my goal is definitely not weight right now. Its size.
