Im a broken record...I’ve been eating crap I know I shouldn’t eat for far too long. I have been going to the gym 2-3 times a week for the last month so that’s good but I need to get my eating back under control. I just have no willpower. I need to log my food and check in here every day. You guys inspire and motivate me. Why is it so difficult to do things we know are good for us??

The fact that you're still going to the gym is awesome. When I lose focus I drop everything lol. This past weekend for example... We all stumble. Just get back on that saddle. I plan to today. :)

Thrive to make your desired way of eating, logging and activity a habit. It gets easy after that...

Unfortunately I ve been doing the same. I ve been good exercising and logging in my diet in a journal and everything but since Halloween I ve been binge eating. And I hate that.

its tough to stay mindful of the good advice you heard to want to eat better in the first place. when i feel like that I watch motivational videos about consistency to help me get back up on that horse and go even further than last time. its great you're still doing the gym!

Momma, you know you can do it. We all know you've already done it. Focus on what you have already achieved and use that to boost your confidence. Very few are consistently consistent. 😉 Remember to be your own best friend and biggest cheerleader. It matters what you are whispering in your own ear. We are all here for you, you know that. 💗

The joy of a human being. Glad to see you are still here and are working at your goals. Forgive yourself and get back at it.

I had one of those Holloween binges and was I ever ashamed after doing so well all day and night....then Bam!!! My son came home with the biggest bag of chocolate I have ever seen. I scolded myself and moved on back to what I was doing before the dreaded binge... I love to exercise but haven't got off my butt to go to the gym. I need some motivation cuz God knows I don't get support at home. keep on truckin 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

In my personal experience, which is pretty extensive as regards dieting and diets, anytime I restricted a particular food or food group, it became the very thing I craved after the initial excitement of starting whatever new diet I was on had faded and the weight loss plateaued. And, it was usually the very thing I binged on. When I stopped dieting, stopped restricting food groups, tuned out the noise of the endless and chronic dieting and made health and a right relationship with food my goals, the binge eating stopped, the crap eating stopped, and my weight normalized.

Thanks so much everyone! My FS fam keeps me accountable and helps me want to do better. I feel so good today after eating keto all day and going to the gym. Now to make that choice all week long!

Because if 'right' was 'easy', everyone would do it - the BEST things earned are the HARDEST things learned, dear. Chin up, feet together, shoulders back... and resume course - got yer back!

I think it is what they say that maintenance is harder than losing. It is boring and has no end! Nothing to shoot for but staying the same. I would try to make some short-term goals, like eat 2 more svgs of veggies per day for a week, increase your weight lifting by x number of # in the next month, etc. I have more success trying to add things and activities rather than focusing on taking things away. But also, i totally cracked up -- keith, you are so right that having no life helps!! Good luck momma, you can do this!

Spice it up, so it does not get boring. And to maintain u have to eat the same as a u do in a deficit, the only difference is 200-300 hundred calories
