MAN!

I am getting so frustrated, it isn't even funny. I am serious. I hate this whole thing, and I want to just give up. I don't care who says that I am doing so good and keep up the good work. I dont want to gain the weight back, but I don't want to be stuck like this forever either...
172.6 lb Lost so far: 11.4 lb.    Still to go: 27.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 4.9 lb a week

Strawberry...I know you said that you don't care who says that you're doing so well, but I'm going to be that person. You started this journey at 181 lbs, and now you're 172. That's pretty good. If you hadn't been working on being healthy, you'd most likely be up, and even more frustrated than you're feeling right now. I think that it's important to realize that feelings are only that...feelings. The way you're feeling right now is not permanent...it will pass. I'm sure that all of us on this site have given up in the past. That's why we're here now. We know that we need to try something new to reach our goals. I'm here to support you, even if you don't want to hear it. You can do it. You're a beautiful, successful woman. Weight loss stalls for everyone. Just keep up the healthy eating and exercise and you will start losing again. Good luck...

You've lost 80 pounds total, haven't you?! *Bowing down* WOW! Make a list of all the benefits of being 'stuck like this forever' versus being 'stuck like that forever' or 'slowly creeping up'.

You've done a great job to get where you are now. So don't give up. Remember, this is a lifestyle for your health not just a weight issue. That means whether you're losing weight or at a stall, you still have to focus on your overall health which include eating right, exercising, and getting proper rest. You stop doing those things, the weight will come back for sure...guaranteed! So pull up those boot straps and jump back in that saddle sister...it ain't over yet!! Plateaus are just a test to see if you're really serious about your diet. I wish you well, so stay a winner!!

My mom used to say to her sisters: "Chin up - Chest out". I think this applies to you as well since you have doen so well and we all know we bounce around with weight while going down over the long run..
