My diet is definately in a stall! :(
I have tried remaining less than 20 carbs/day since Jan, which I don't see as a problem, and easy enough to do. I went back to measuring everything this week instead of eyeballing it. Found I am usually accurate eyeing things :) But that did not get the scales to move. :( I have been drinking my water, usually not a problem either.

I am thinking of doing a week of the Quick Loss Diet, a more severe low carb diet, to see if that will get the downward movement of the scales.

I am determined to loss the weight! I am tired of being this size! I am tired of being limited physically!
258.0 lb Lost so far: 26.0 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Are you thinking of doing the fat fast? If so, it works.. I did it a few years ago for 1 week and I think I dropped about 6 pounds!

Great idea! Any kind of a change/shake-up/mix-up is the best cure for a stall - you can do it! Love that you are planning ahead for your week away - you'll do fine, you already know all the right things to do...good luck...let us know how it goes :D

Keep at it until you find the one that works for you that you're willing to work for! You can do it. I am a little familiar with Atkins, I tried it once, but my uncle in law lost like 45 pounds so far and is loving it! I love South Beach, Im a big veggie and fish eater so it's perfect for me. There are so many wonderful plans out there, Im sure you'll get it figured out.

I'm in the same boat sista! A change up might just be good. I hope so because I'm changing to Atkins starting today. I'm wishing you good luck in finding that thing that'll jump start your weight loss again. We CAN do this!

FAT FAST? thanks, Lori, for jogging my memory, I had forgotten about Atkins' fat fast option. Since I lent my Atkins book to my Dad, I did a google search for fat fast, got some good ideas for next week's plan. 200/250 cal, 4-5x a day, very similiar to the Dr Stillman plan I was originally thinking of.
