5 pullups is fantastic! That's actually my next goal with my personal trainer - to be able to do unassisted pullups. I was doing assisted pullups today - 6 sets of 3 reps - with 45 lbs and a bit of spotting from my trainer on the last few sets. I'm getting there! He helped me reach my goal of being able to do full body pushups. I'm not quite at the 20 I had originally set as a goal (have been able to do 15) but, considering I couldn't do ANY to start, it was a big improvement. Anyway, just saying that you can start from nothing and make a lot of headway in a pretty short amount of time if you just stick with it. Do you have a goal in mind to be able to do a certain number of pullups?
