I have done great... but then I saw the #'s on the scale go back up a little and got frustrated. Add to that the fact that I've been craving chocolate and peanut butter for a few days and there you have me bored and pilfering a Reese's Peanut Butter Egg from my daughter's stash of Easter candy. Not a proud moment! Then I was so disappointed in myself that I got depressed and ate a few bites of vanilla ice cream and three Doritos, just to spite myself. Clearly, I have issues! LOL!
So today I am being far more watchful of those sneaky carbs from things like eggs and cheese to try and make it up.

Knowing what types of foods you crave and like to binge on and finding healthy substitutes is very important. I buy sugar free chocolates for those days when the "chocoholic" in me demands to be fed. I also buy low carb tortillas which I can cut up into chips and bake in the oven till crispy. You can season these however you like and while not exactly like tortilla chips or Doritos, they do have a satisfying crunch. These are things that may not be part of the phase you are currently in, but if they can help keep you from eating their unhealthy "cousins" then they can be a great help. Just count the carbs and don't go overboard. A little creativity can go a long way toward keeping you on the low carb path!
