Lucybell33's Journal, 09 April 2008

The rollercoaster ride continues, although I much prefer the descent over the ascend! Hopefully, this is the start of a more permanent downward trend again.

I stuck to my diet plan 100% yesterday, having one of my favourite meals - Pesto Mayo Pizza - for dinner. Yummy scrumptious!!

In view of the relatively poor performance of the Trailblazers in the activity challenge last week, I'm going to try to step it up a gear on the exercise front. So, I turned yesterday's planned lunchtime Dyna-Band workout into a double session, and did a 30 minute yoga session in the evening too!

It's a beautiful, sunny day here in Southampton, although I've got to get down to some serious studying today, so will have to just enjoy the sunshine from the confines of my study. Have a great Wednesday!

Yay, so thrilled to see those scales moving in the right direction again for you!!! I just read about yesterday's hike... I reckon due to dehydration from where you were poorly and the mackerel. You just keep up the great work there though, as just goes to show that those scales reward you in the end!! ;o)

Wow, thats a fantastic drop in a day! And please do tell, what's pesto mayo pizza?

Thank you! Pesto Mayo Pizza is one of my favourite recipes - it's basically pizza base (I use a ready-made organic wholemeal one) topped with passata, garlic, oregano, rocket, grated gruyere cheese and finally a couple of tablespoons of extra light mayonnaise mixed with a teaspoon of green pesto. In the oven for around 20 minutes and served with a big salad, it's absolutely DIVINE!!!
