AmyCoulon's Journal, 25 May 2010

Nice. Had a good weigh in this morning. It was not my intent to undo that with the ice cream cone I ended up eating this evening. Hubby was painting my mom's house tonight as they are getting ready to sell and down size. So I was the "fill in" for my older son's cub scout den meeting. And of course we had an outing to do for one of their badges and the evening finished up w/ the den leader treating everyone to ice creams. And of course it was a little "mom and pop" type place out in the country, where they've never ever heard of frozen yogurt or low fat or italian ice. So a small scoop on a small cone it was for me. It was very tasty and I made sure to enjoy every bite....then promptly got on the ellipitical machine once the boys were in bed. Hey Jenju, if you read this, I need a cool name for my elliptical machine. I love how you call yours the "Beast", when in fact I really have no idea what you're working out on. Wanna help me name my machine, ideas anyone?

Good for you! Every once in a while you have to be able to enjoy something w/o feeling quilty for it. You could always call it the Terminator.

*or Arnold. lol I hate it when kinks get thrown into our chain. I looked at your journal and you didn't go over by much. If anything, it probably "bumped" your metabolism. Thank you so much for always being encouraging. You are an awesome buddy!

I agree, with kcook. What a great buddy you are!! And good job on the ice cream. I think the secret to success is not denying yourself anything. A small scoop in a cone never hurt anyone. And, hey, nostalgia burns calories in my book. Congrats!

HAHAHA...YOU CRACK ME UP! My "Beast" is a stationary bike that I bought when I became serious about getting in shape. I imagine an elliptical would have to be closer to The Dragon...slay the dragon, Amy!!!

HAHAH, oh my. The Dragon it is then, that works. Terminator was also a great idea tonjap, so thanks for the suggestion. But there's something very primative about "slaying" a piece equipment (ROTFLMAO). Although, if I start seeing flames shoot out from the "Dragon", might be coming from my thighs rubbing together and catching fire! Ooohahahah, oh I'm dying here. :) You guys all rock, thanks so much!!!!
