Glad to see the scale continuing to move.

I really battled my thinking last night. I was tired and hungry (first night back at work). I wanted the comfort of food, and the warmth of fat. I found myself seriously debating the whole healthy lifestyle thing. It's not fun. I want to eat whatever and however much I want. It's a struggle every day.

Every. Single. Day.
141.8 lb Lost so far: 3.8 lb.    Still to go: 6.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Amen, sister! I was just thinking the same thing today. I chose the "healthy" option at Ruby Tuesdays today and was feeling bummed because I wanted to be able to just peruse the menu and eat whatever fit my fancy at the moment. But then I got to thinking that what I ordered really did taste delicious AND gets me closer to my goals in life instead of further away. I am grateful to restaurants that have healthy options (that also taste good!). All it takes is a change in perspective to chase away that negative feeling of entitlement to do whatever you want, when you want. It's easy to say and never easy to do. There is that fine line to tread between getting want you want right now and getting what you really want over the long run.
