Hahahahahahaha! Good morning, Fatsecret.

Yesterday was a crazy day - and the scale is definitely reflecting it.

Wife and Daughter went out on their own for a day of fun, and I was at home mentally preparing to play at "my" drummer's wedding in the evening.

I went to the church where the wedding was gonna take place at 4 PM, doing good on my foods up to that point.

Then, it all went down the drain.

I didn't really want to do bad, but I had no way of calculating anything and things were complicated, so I simply decided to not give a damn and just go with it.

The food was all vegetarian. Not bad. Actually, there were a LOT of great food, a lot of healthier choices, and I think I picked a lot of RIGHT things. I probably didn't fail on this - other than the fact that they had so many interesting breads, and that a lot of the foods were too salty for my taste.

No, the main problem was: NO WATER. No Diet soda!

The wedding was held in a huge party tent in a field, and there was no real access to clean running water. The foods were catered and brought there.

So, I was basically stuck with great foods, a ridiculous amount of insanely good breads, sugary sodas, beers, wine etc.

Then there was the home made ice cream and brownies, made by the bride herself. Can't say no to that, can I?

We were gonna play with out band at the party. And we did. However, we didn't play until well after midnight, and this was REALLY rough on me.

I had to make it through the day, with my little open wound (after the doctor double checked for potential infection but didn't find anything other than oozing), leaking quite some - and staying awake. These days I usually konk out around 8 or 9 PM, so playing a concert after midnight was a real challenge. I downed a heavy duty energy drink right before we went on stage, and I think this helped me.

I could clearly tell that I was building up water weight the entire day - and I think this is mostly what the scale is showing today. From 4 PM and until the end of the night I did not go to the rest rom at all. Normally, when I drink my water, I go about every 60-90 minutes. I don't feel that I drank any less than usual, just not water.

I have several glasses of wine (probably totally about a full bottle), a few beers, sodas, etc. I did not get drunk from it at all, probably because of it being over the whole day, and also burning it out at the concert.

I'm not at all worried about the weight, though. I am on track again, drinking my water, and resting big time.

As always I wake up at the same time no matter when I go to bed. So I went to sleep at 3:30 AM, and got up at 6. Not good.

I will simply have to take it easy throughout the day, and relax and recover. I can do this. We have no plans at all, and I'll just sleep when I need to. Main focus is to not become too bitchy and naggy. I tend to do that when I get too tired - like a four year old kid. LOL.

My legs hurt like crazy today. I wore "real" shoes for the first time since surgery. It's been about 45 days. So getting in those shoes, and spending hours standing up and releasing energy really killed my thighs. Another good reason to take it easy.

So that's about it.

I have no hunger at all this morning. I ate one egg, basically to get my metabolism going.

I will eat when I get hungry, I will make sane choices. I am on track, doing good.

Today, I am thankful for:
- An AWESOME night yesterday!
- The outlook for (hopefully) shedding all this water weight tomorrow.
- Coffee, coffee, coffee. Boy, do I need it.
- A quiet day for recovery.

Well, you certainly sound like you had a good time! Wow, that is odd no water or diet drinks in this day and age. Maybe they have to watch their pennies. lol. Anyway, I am sorta glad, I gained 5 lbs yesterday, and I think you beat me. Good job! XD

LOL, Posterchild. *shakes head* Keld, you must really like your friend to go through that kind of ordeal. I hope he appreciates you. Maybe it's just the kind of spike day that will help your body reset and things will start to fall in line. It's great that you have Sunday to relax and recoup as well.
