Yep, I'm scared to weigh in tomorrow after my week 'off'.... yikes!!! I'm sure you'll be back down in no time..

Yes, beer diet no bueno! grr. Ya, I've been slacking bad too. This calls for remedial burpees twice this week along with 3 days of trail running and 4 days of weights. New goal is 174 by saturday morning.

damn beer, wine, vodka and late drunken eating...ugh! Good thing my friend heads back to Florida tomorrow at 6am!

Haha! Wooooord. I went to a family party yesterday and had lots of awesome filipino food... fried rice, pancit, lumpia, chicken wings, skewered bbq... I inhled it all. I then went to go trail running to burn off the carbs I just loaded up on, was doing great, and then BAM!! Like a knife in my right calf, I got a bad cramp/charlie horse/ pulled muscle. So now i'm in gimp mode. Great. And I just ate two homemade cookies a coworker brought in. Gahdammit. So no cardio while I heal, hardcore on the body and weight resistance training, and 100% on the diet from here on out this week! Nothing but protein, berries, and some cheese to keep me sane.

Ya, lumpia is comparable to eggrolls and pancit to chow mein. But I'm biased; the flip versions are waaaaay better. WAY BETTER. Gahdammit, now I'm salivating.

Couldn't agree more man! Years ago I worked part time at a bowling alley. Huge filipino family came there a lot, one filipino guy worked with me. They had a huge birthday for a little one, and brought in food from their cookout. Some of the best eats ever, especially the filipino sushi! (and I'm not a fan of sushi)

Heck ya, maaaan! I'm thinking of stealing my mom's and aunt's recipes and possibly someday opening up my very own roach coach with the filipino basics; garlic fried rice, lumpia, adobo, pancit, bbq skewers, fried chicken wings, and silog [filipno breakfast plates; a protein (spam, tpcino, longonisa), and over easy eggs on top of garlic fried rice]. I'd make a killing!!

OK OK OK!!! Enough! I have to be good like you and talk of all that just sounds sooooo good!I was saving up my being good to hit a favorite restaurant and now I have to wait a bit.... well have something to work for lol. When are you cooking for me??? No Filipino places in Syracuse...
