Fun weekend spent with family and eating a few things I shouldn’t have but stuck to my plan for the most part!
I hope you all had a happy Mother’s Day. I am so grateful I get to be a mom. My kids are everything to me.
It was nice to go to my in laws Sunday and have them comment on my weight loss. Family and friends want to know what I’m doing. Some are supportive, some think I’m crazy but it is working for me.
I hope you all had a great weekend and have a good week!

Sounds like a good weekend. And you had a loss, so you must have stayed mostly in control. I remember just hearing people talking about cutting out most fast food and soda and thinking they were crazy, but now I rarely eat fast food or drink soda, and I don't crave it at all. So, whatever is working for you may seem crazy to someone else, but if it's working for you, let them think you're crazy. :)

Thanks wright! You’ll be proud of me—I made an appointment at the gym with a trainer to design a workout program for me this Wednesday evening! I’m finally going to get there 😁

@momma6224, I am so very proud of you, even if you hadn't made it to the gym (which I had wished 4 you), I would still be proud 4 your success and achievements thus far. A full time Mom doesn't have it easy, I know your busy supporting others, making sure things are done for your children, husband, aging parents, home, and finally yourself. Please keep me apprised of your progress, let me know how comfortable you are with your trainer, and what exercises they have you doing. I'm interested and excited in your new routine. Don't let them push you too hard or too fast as to prevent injury. You'll feel some discomfort as you don't want it easy, some muscle tension is good 4 you, but you will know it is working this way. Just don't over exert yourself. Wishing you much fun, and success. :D

@glen, Very nice sentiment about Father-Daughter bonding and parenting in general. Glad you've had the opportunity to enjoy your family. I think it's Fantastic....! Too much loss of personal connections occuring in persons busy lives nowadays...

Glen, that is so sweet! We need our parent’s love and support no matter how old we get. I’m sure your daughter loves every minute she gets to spend with you. I definitely revel in being a mom. My kids are my purpose—my teachers, my friends, my everything! I am so lucky I get to be a mom. It is definitely emotionally and sometimes physically exhausting but I wouldn’t want to do anything else. It’s important for me to be here for them every step of the way.
