Danyellehawkins's Journal, 30 July 2014

So, obviously I fell off the wagon. I haven't been on here for a while. I was trying out the option of not logging and recording everyday because I was feeling consumed by it. Then,as always in life, I fell into a rut. No excuses though. I gained some weight. No big deal. I'm just going to have to obliterate it lol. Look out fitness world. I'm back :)

Every now and then you have to test yourself and yes you passed. You made the right choice by coming back and kicking butt.

The good thing about falling off the wagon is that you can climb right back up and be back on top. Welcome back.

Its a bumpy wagon, I keep falling off too. I think the important thing is that we keep getting back on!!! Good for you!!!

It gets frustrating having to lose those same dang pounds though!

and the funny thing is that when I share my mistakes or when I share that I've left my commitment I seem to take it more seriously. My mind has a tendency to justify rather than just be humble and join in with everyone else. Let's face it, even the way the food industry puts sugar in everything (which by the way, is mass manipulation) all of us on here struggle everyday to stay out of the 'Norm' of the way our culture eats. I say thank God we have each other!!! Thank you all my FS members for being here for me!!!

Fighting to shed the same pounds off, I notice that they not that stubborn as the first time. You hit them harder and they would be scared to comeback. Cheers :)

You guys are great! Thanks again. I live in Taiwan teaching English here, so things are a little bit harder. Imagine going out to dinner and trying to order a burger without the bread and without the fries, and oh... can I have a salad with that? In a place that only took on foreign food recently. They think I'm insane here lol. Part of the fun in it I guess :) Keep on rockin' everyone :)

All you have to do is hop right back on that wagon NOW and ride it to the finish line!

How interesting. I'm sure Taiwan has lots of fresh local dishes with lots of veggies and fresh seafood. Great time to experiment with what is fresh locally. I'm a nut for trying different cuisines..:))

I would think getting as far away from the US as possible would help with weight loss, but have never been outside of N America, so what would I know. The simplest and most logical advice I heard once was to choose foods that are as close to their natural form as possible. Makes perfect sense. Best wishes! Kmc☺
