Your comment. 5 days to rid yourself of 1 hours' indulgence. I have a similar thought regarding cooking and eating. Takes 4 hours to cook a holiday or big meal and only 20 minutes to consume it. Very glad you're back.

Agree. Sometimes the whole cooking/eating process seems pointless, esp when it comes to junk. Our bodies need fuel and not all the extraneous stuff we put in. Good job getting it back off, Northern!

I'm actually glad it took you this long. It might give you something to think about for when you go away in early May and you see all those fast food joints again, RIGHT? Maybe you won't be as tempted to indulge in the crap knowing how long it will take to rid yourself of it when you get home. Maybe Mrs. Mole's words will be ringing in your ears and at McD's, you'll order three grilled chicken breast sandwiches instead and throw away the bread. No fries, no coke. No dessert. You feel me, mister? Seriously, glad it's gone mostly and welcome back to sanity. Now stop having birthdays and reasons for cake for a little while, okay?

lol. MM you're so mean! I'm going to have Blond Puppy pee on your bed. ;) But let me just say... I understand. I know, I know, I know what I should have done, but this whole bulk thing is still an experiment to me. A feel as long as I learn something it's okay. I'll be cutting soon enough, and when I do, I'll be locking it down again. You know I can. I know you care about what I'm doing, and you know you're going to pick my brain about the whole time when your first bulk comes. I swear... a fresh, fruit salad would have been far more satisfying that what I had. I know it would. Next time, okay? Treat myself to a fruit platter?

CR. I've never noticed it taking that long to cook the special meals. My wife looks after the big ones. I just look for a bigger pair of pants and a loose fitting belt. I'M KIDDING YOU GUYS. COME ON!!! :D

I am the same! almost an entire week and I didn't even lose it all. It does put it all into perspective though, doesn't it.

rofl... I am really glad you've taken this as a learning experience. I will one day do the same thing. I hope. But not this weekend.

Danyelle. The worst part of it isn't gaining the weight - it's all the static you get from your "Friends". *smirk* It's nice to know people care, isn't it?

It *is* nice to know people care. I had a crisis of biblical proportions when I thought I couldn't have my dog last weekend, and the temptation to throw my diet in the garbage and gorge on pizza and candy was monumental. But I held fast, stayed strong. I wonder if the universe rewarded me for my fortitude? CR, I know you have plans this weekend, but don't "waffle" too badly. Have fun all.
