Woke at 217.2, up .6 from yesterday after a rare calorie surplus. Also, disappointed to see that my blood ketones were only .2 millimolar this morning despite only eating 20 net grams of carbs yesterday and doing a 16:8 fast. UPDATE: Got my new Omron Fat Loss Monitor today, which forced me to change my daily goals for the rest of the month (see the separate journal entry dated 2/20/18). Today's weight numbers reflect the old calculations but will change beginning tomorrow. Ate 1700 calories and finished the day at 217.8, so the waking weight is today's low. Did well on carbs again. Let's see if I get a good blood ketone reading in the morning.

i thought that if your Ketones lower at some point it was not bad just means your body does not need to produce as much? Am I wrong?
