Trying some Calesthenetics as the old dumb bells seem to be immune to me at the moment. I can't see any real inches changes in the measurements, despite a scale drop which is confusing. I can't figure if that's down to muscle gain or not. Eating under RDI and continuous moderate weights over the course of two weeks (plus lots of brisk walking). So would that give rise to lbs drop but steady body measurements, give or take half an inch..? Hmmm its a tough balance keeping calories down but keeping up exercise. Whats the ideal ratio on RDI for that..? ANy fit gurus in the house :)

I have always had a mentality of behaving for 4 days and then maybe relaxing on calorie watching on an occasion or night out. That used to work ok when I was in my 20s and early thirties cause I was always pretty active. But that just doesn't work anymore so I am trying intermittent with the 5:2 day or as some do 10:4 haven't decided which. It is a terrible struggle to stay under 500 cal, and I only made 527. Went to bed feeling alright but woke up hungry and lost a good deal of sleep with the tummy going. But immediately dropped back the few calories I have been trading over and back with this last 10 days - so maybe the shock was required. Although rampantly hungry today. I am going to try and stick to my regular 16/8 before I break fast, but I suspect it will tough to hold out til mid morning lol Here's hoping. Plus I think I like the discipline and focus required. I feel with a little training I might not have so much trouble in future attempts.
