I was at where you're at... a different WOE, though; but, I make sure two of my three meals has some type of DENSE leafy green with my protein... THEN chase with water.

If you are not taking that much food in, you will not be putting that much food out, you will not be going more that 2 times a week maybe. I even talked to a Dr. about it and had Bowel / colon scans etc, from a hospital, your usual toilet habits will change, it is not uncommon, I now take a probiotic 10 billion and a magnesium tab everyday, if I go twice a week, they say that is ok.I was like you once a day, now maybe 2 times a week, if you are not cramping, my Dr, says don't worry about it,What was regular for me is now down to maybe 2 times every 4-5-7 days.Yes, I was concerned, but got my thought's figured from my scans with no blockages

Try some magnesium supplements-- warning only take them after a meal as they can upset your stomach.

perhaps this will help: you don't lose fat through your poop. you breathe it out as CO2. whatever you excrete as feces is just the remnants of food. make sure you are drinking at least 1-2 liters of water each day. if you start to feel bloated or notice a change, ask yourself "why am I experiencing this pain". less food equals less poop. don't starve yourself, don't eat too much. don't worry about it too much. Stress can cause constipation. Are you sitting down a lot? make sure you get in 6000+ steps/day.

Take Milk of Magnesium. I only eat 1200 calories a day but I still go every day and if I don't go for a day or so I go directly to MOM (Milk of Magnesium). Works every time!

I take a magnesium supplement every morning and at bedtime. Prior to this my doctor ha me taking stool softener everyday and I did that for years. Then I read about how people are deficient in magnesium. I started taking these and they have literally changed my life...I had so many issues with the bathroom. They do not cause me any stomach upset, and I do not take with food, but everyone is different. Also, you may only end up needing one a day. Just get them in you and play around and figure out what works best, but it will work.

I take a magnesium supplement- they are cheap and magnesium works in over 350 functions in the body!! I used to have to take laxatives until I started taking magnesium

Low carb also usually means you are consuming less fiber so you may have to add some in in some form. Fiber is also good for you in so many ways both soluble and insoluble.

MCT oil. It's a good fat and a great laxative. I never have issues since I started drinking bulletproof coffee every day.

I had a similar problem for YEARS. Finally tried Linzess that my gastroenterologist prescribed. I only used it a couple weeks and became perfectly normal. Now I don't take it anymore because it seems like it "reset" my system.

I used to have the same problem before changing my nutrition and water intake. I drink 1.5 gallons of water daily, eat clean and exercise 5 days a week. I poo 2 to 3 times on the daily like clock work 😊

1 tbsp of coconut oil in the afternoon and run a 5K under 35 minutes in the evening. Call the house when you are 5 minutes out and tell them to STAY OUT OF THE BATHROOM.

I find 2 servings (made with 1 cup) old fashioned oatmeal cooked with raisins along with a prebiotic , that keeps the gas down, eaten daily keeps me regular. it may take time in your case but works best if you're consistent and don't just try a few times. Oatmeal is good for the heart too

Magnesium supplement. It relaxes you. Yes, if you don't take too much you can go about your normal day.

I have the same problem, Redgirl! Do whatever ya gotta do! I'd take magnesium in the evening, assuming you're home overnight. I tried Yogi Tea's "Soothing Mint Get Regular Gentle Herbal Laxative." It is not automatic! In fact, I had to steep it for the full 10 minutes and drink a cup for four evenings in a row before it had any effect. (My gut can turn to cement!) Even that was temporary, and I had to resort to Philips' "Milk of Magnesia" the following week. Makes my but feel like it's turned inside out, but it works! (Yes, TMI!)

I use CALM magnesium powder. An unexpected result of taking mixing more than the recommended amount with warm water. But be careful of using too much, you'll be miserable for hours and sometimes needing to rush to the bathroom 3 times within minutes. Not sure if that's how you want to accomplish this.
