So over the weekend I was invited to go to some events. So I tried so hard not to drink and I had some wine. I will need to stay stronger and just have to tell my friends hey "I'm on a diet and I will not be able to go out as much " Staying strong

I find that white wine with soda water is a good long drink. Other than that I usually make sure that I'm the driver - I don't need a drink to be as daft as some people are after one.

Have a seltzer with lime - makes everyone thing you've got a drink. Tastes awful, but saves calories. :-)

Or you can still go out, but learn how to better control it. Our lives should not stop because we are eating healthfully.

I agree with HCB....but if you consider what you are doing merely a "diet", then tell your friends such. However if you are really making a lifestyle change, then you may need to learn better control and realise the health aspects. I never tell people I am on a diet...just being a bit more health conscious. Good luck.
