notelaine's Journal, 29 July 2015

Having the worst day at work. All I want to do is go buy a pint of ice cream, a bottle of wine, and curl up on the couch.

Writing this here so I won't. I will, however, go home, enjoy some fresh blueberries and one small cocktail before eating the dinner I planned. Cocktail included, I'm still below my calorie goal for the day.

I'm going to stay on track.

Way to go! Doesn't hurt to get it out there so you can face it and move around it. This is one thing you CAN control (maybe not like work)

Wow! They'll let you get a pint of ice cream, a bottle of wine, and let you curl up on the couch at work? That's awesome! (Way to stick to it though.)

haha! Actually have some friends in the IT world who have kegs in their cafeterias, so you're not too far off!

If I worked in IT I'd want to drink during the day too. :)

I work IT...have a hard enough time keeping things straight sober! Good job staying on track. I like to work a beer or something stronger into my calorie allotment, a nice thing to cap the day off with.

I'm a sucker for a nice, dry martini. Fortunately that works well when counting calories!

Hang with it and glad you are making a reasonable choice for the day!

See the problem, share the problem, then solve the problem. All without going off track ...awesome job!

Thanks for all the support everyone! I managed to behave myself last night, which I honestly don't think I would have done without this site. And Glen, I'm dying laughing over here. I was literally having that exact conversation with a coworker yesterday! I think it's impossible for anyone to get fired where I work. You can only train someone so much before you just have to cut your losses, lol.
