kimberly rae's Journal, 01 February 2015

In order to restart out of my plateau, I've decided to sign up for another half marathon, on April 18, 3 months to the day after the one I just completed. I have the added push that this one doesn't have a walk category. I will need to complete it a full 15 minutes faster than I did these last two. I wont be running the whole time, but I will need to run a bit in it to improve time that much.
As far as diet is concerned, I want to get back to the clean eating I did in losing the first 15 lbs I lost last Fall. So I decided to get back to Fat Flush, a diet somewhat extreme but no sugar or flour or any 'whites' and also no artificial sweetners but stevia. So there, 22 pounds in 4 months. 5.5 pounds per month. ready set go!
177.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 22.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Diet Calendar Entry for 01 February 2015:
766 kcal Fat: 39.65g | Prot: 43.04g | Carb: 66.31g.   Breakfast: Smucker's Natural Strawberry Fruit Spread, Ciabatta, Lactantia Salted Butter, Egg, Jennie-O Turkey Bacon. Lunch: Silk Unsweetened Cashew Milk, Jif Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter, Plain Yogurt, Bananas, Kale, Apples, Rainbow Light Chocolate Protein Energizer. more...

Hey Kim. Hmm... good idea - both on a new diet idea and on the RUN. Before you know it, you will be a runner. Oh my.

Your exercise routine is awesome. You no doubt have been excelling the the exercise program!!!! Great Job!! I am sure the weight will start falling off. I have not held time to look at your diet numbers, maybe check out your sodium levels if the plateau continues.

Wow, I'm impressed with both diet commitment and the big step on the marathon 15 minutes faster thing. I remember after your 1st 1/2 you said it felt so good to be so fit and you thought you might just stay in it permanently. You can do anything you set your mind and heart to do. I'll keep cheering you on. Take care of your tootsies. 👟
