Christmas. we had eggnog cookies and really what kind of Santa spirit would I have made if I didnt let go for a couple of days. we've all had the h1nky34 virus that's floating around. and even with all that drama somehow I managed to gain 5 pounds. three meals I let out of my plan, one when I took my employees out which was three slices of healthy type pizza Christmas eve afternoon. Christmas eve at my grandmother's it was snackfoods, but I prepared healthy things to take. the family didn't know any better and none was left :) I did have 3 peanut butter balls that night. and 1 8 ounce glass custard as well as the first cola I have had in three months. christmass day lunch was a free meal. but I kept portions under control. half Apple sized everything. and two peanut butter balls. had a lot of smoked ham over the last two days 8 pieces 1/8th thick. and lots of water. had cookies with kids. 2 chocolate chips with 6oz milk. it was a food break it wasn't a lapse in judgement nor a failure nor a setback. I full on expected this. now to get back to the pillars loose what I put on and get down to 270. it was a good refresher in the fact you can't outworkout a bad food intake. and it was good Times with the family. love your faces now back to the gym!

Good luck. I am sure you will get back to 270lbs in not time once you get back on track. I think it is good to enjoy and celebrate as long as we do not extend it indefinitely into the New Year and don't let that negative mind set start calling us a loser for a few day of over indulgence. I hope you had a great Christmas and the very best in 2015. I really agree with your comment that "you can't outwork a bad food intake" as healthy eating is much better for weight loss than exercise. I try to do both, but I put more emphasis now on my eating after doing much reading on the topic of eating vs exercise for healthy weight loss.
