I'm very close to the weight I was at when I first met my husband almost 15 years ago. I remember when we met I was super sure he wouldn't like me because I was over weight. I was ashamed of the way I looked. Now after gaining almost 100 pounds and so far losing 86, I'm so happy to be at this weight. People tell me that I look good, that my transformation is amazing. And I say thank you, and I tell them that I'm not done yet! Keep up the good fight. We will get to our goals!

maggie64, keep working on it, don't get discouraged. Every step you take is in the right direction. It took me a while to finally be positive about this new journey in my life. But now everyday is wonderfully amazing. And I do have doubts sometimes but this is a great place to talk about what is going on. So many people on here on FS are going through the same thing, and can really understand where everyone else is coming from. It's a great support system. Never give up! And never give in!

My husband really is wonderful. He has loved me through all this. At my heaviest which was 280, and throughout this crazy roller coaster ride of healthy living. He used to tease me about going to the gym, that I was going to meet someone new. But I told him he never has to worry about that. I know he loves me for who I am on the inside. He never ever once made any negative comments about my weight. Of course now, he tells me all the time how awesome all my hard work is. And I told him that if any guy ever comes up to me it will only be because of how I look. And that is shallow. And I'll me like MC Hammer...U Can't Touch This!
