Johanne's Journal, 01 October 2014

October is breast cancer awareness month. I just called to schedule my mammogram. My father died of complications related to his breast cancer when he was 43 . . . I was 21. My gentleman friends, you too can have breast cancer. It's not as rare as you would think. I have cysts in my breasts, so, along with my mammogram, I have sonograms each year. Call and schedule your mammograms today my buddies. Think pink. Knowledge is power!!!

Great advice - I did mine about one months ago! All clear.

I found eliminating grains and sugar got rid of the cystic breast problem. Maybe you will find the same when you are done with your elimination diet. Good luck!

Good girl, HCB! Yay for "all clear"! Yduj (my spell check changed you to Yuk! LOL), I have been gluten free, processed free and mostly sugar free for over 4 years but I hope you're right.

One thing to remember Cancer feeds on sugar...so eliminating it is a sure thing..

I have to send you a link Johanne. I read something today about celiac and oats. You might be interested...I will have to look for it.

It's always such a relief to hear the "all clear". Yduj, I'll be interested to read your link. I know that even gluten free oats are debated. I just love them so and had no obvious reaction to them when I reintroduced them.
