Got up and ran my last 2 miles before the race. Nothing much to talk about; used up all my words yesterday.

Yeah, Buffy, sleeping in until 4:30. If it's too hot and muggy on Saturday, may consider doing walk/run intervals for the 10K. Probably only makes 3 or 4 minutes difference and might keep me from being soaked and worn out afterwards. Might do it anyway. Certainly not going to set any speed records with a heat index of 105. It's the humidity more than the heat that is the killer.

Knowing you have an early start on Saturday, wanted to make sure you saw this on Friday: good luck and have fun. You are doing something amazing...a 10k! Will be cheering you on from afar.

Thank you, Guys! I think I would just continue to do the yo-yo thing over and over again if it wasn't for all of you, and your words of encouragment and support. It's pretty apparent that FS will be a permanent part of my permanent lifestyle change as well.
