A very wonderful Sunday to all FatSecret community members. A fantastic weather day! I bet it is a nice day for Misty in Vegas too. I am so very happy, that I have stabilized my diet to include almost 3000 calories daily, and still not add any significant weight. Is it the avocados, or almonds, or Chia Seeds, or Cashew Clusters, or pistachios, or granola? etc. I am so happy with the diet, and I owe it all to the community, all of you lovely people on this site. Have a great day!

Warren's Diet Tips of the Day:
Virgin Coconut Oil – NOT the hydrogenated stuff
When we say “eat less” we’re talking a whole meal’s worth of calories less! The study showed a dramatic 256 fewer calories per day were consumed. This method leads to long-term dramatic weight loss. (Authority Nutrition)

Is Coconut Oil the best health product you could own?

I would wager to say that it's all of it, nothing overly processed or laden with chemicals! 3000 kcals gives you a wide net, hunger, what's that?! Great work, really inspiring!

Thanks Phil, where some have scoffed at your thoughts, I have listened. I really believe I owe a lot of my diet to you personally. THANK YOU, PHIL!

Happy Birthday Phil!! What are you, like 30 years today? I too always listen to your advice, it's always a very balanced advice which lingers in my mind long after I closed this APP.

Thank you, Warren! I try to weigh the pros and cons of everyone's process and synthesize as much as possible into my own routine. Smartygirl, oh, you flatter, I turn 43 today, hindsight can make you go blind, there's definitely some things I change over the years, but all told, I'm pretty happy with where I'm currently at in life.

Learned of it from FS! and Love it, even broke down and paid $11.99 for Carrington Farms LIQUID coconut oil. Great for coffee : )

Drag, I am pretty lucky, really. My dad was the same way. It just proves to me how bad my diet was before coming to FS. I remember how frustrating it was playing football, and not getting the weight I needed. I would eat until I was going to throw it up. Now it works in my favor.

Florida, that is what I paid at Costco. Just ate a tablespoon of it.

Glad to see you're doing so well, Warren! I love coconuts and their oil, it's a super food, along with avocados, of course ;)

Hey Bill (aka Draglist), Warren and all...insulin resistance, pre diabetes and metabolic syndrome have some common denominators...knuckles posted a you tube video a few days ago that TED and Purdue university cosponsored re same. Not to spoil the punchline but it's not a surprise and ties in with repetitive blood sugar - insulin spikes.... I was pretty interested as that is a bit of my health background and how I ended up at FS. Also, Mahjohn (where is he these days...I miss him), John10251 and others were going over the same topic a few months ago as we all had some interest in avoiding/reversing the dreaded type 2 DB...part of the punchline, fat intake DOES NOT affect blood sugar.

Steven, he suddenly left and has not been back. Many here have missed him including myself. I thought he worked for FS, when I first came on here because he was so knowledgeable.

I sent Mahjohn an Inbox message last week and have not heard from him. I believe he was having shoulder surgery.
