Hi all. My weight is still about 227. It was quite a bit more last autumn. I want to get to about 205 to 210. I am easing into Atkins. My first novel WILL be out around August 1st. I am doing OK. I am writing short stories now... This year I may get published successfully. I know advanced astrology well. The planet Venus rules my eighth house (career) it is going into my 10th house - this year on my Midheaven, and exactly trining my birth Mercury by progression. For many, many years this planet will be in my tenth house of career - to perhaps highlight my writing the rest of my life - and so we'll see what happens as I will be doing this late in life so to speak - at age 54, most people are very successful in career by age 40. My animals are OK. I renamed Mittens the cat to Spirit. I have Mitzi, Patches and Spirit and I still have Toto the dog. I live in a big townhouse condo now that I own. I live alone and write full time...

Hi, yes - I am self-publishing the week after next. The process was a dragged-out mess, mainly because the book was not ready, I thought it was edited well - and I had to fix it up. It will be out in about one week. Even if sales are poor I think I may be able to get a book deal for it and my first four novels total as they're good books. I am considering moving back to Hawaii if that happens. I don't know. It is a long ways away, but I enjoyed living there. I will just sort of have to say a permanent good-bye to everyone here, not that anyone is tying me down here.

Thanks, the first book is Catholic historical fiction. The second is set in Puritanical New England - turns out I had ancestors here then, I am going to even add two to a scene in the book, two 9th great grandparents... and there were another set here too then - at least. The third book is a long wagon train western. I looked back on my old journals on here. I see how close my friend Bruce was - he was a good friend for many years, and I journaled it too. He died on January 20th. Take care.

Thanks CatHerder. I have three cats myself now. I have my deceased friend's two cats and my deceased mom's cat - and a dog. Loss is a big part of life, it is hard losing people close to you... but it is the way things are. I did OK with eating out today, easing into Atkins. I am getting rid of all the dinners in my freezer first, and the rice in my cabinets... in about two or three weeks I should be ready to start Atkins strictly.
