Made it back to the gym this morning. Only able to get 10 minutes on the bike before I had to get ready for work, but I got in 2 miles. Made a quick scan of other exercise equipment. Never been over in the section that has a bunch of different exercise/weight machines. Just used treadmills and bikes up to this point. Saw one that does crunches, I guess. Thinking I want to try it. I am using the bike to work my legs, but I also want to work my arms and belly. Not sure the best way to do that. I can't do sit-ups the regular way (on the floor) I just roll around like a beached whale. It's pitful! Hey exercise buddies, what do ya'll recommend? I have trouble doing regular exercises on my own. Basically because I don't know a good routine/series to accomplish them, and then I forget what the exercises are. I was doing exercises on the Wii for a while a couple years ago, but I don't have the wii hooked up, and I really want to do my exercising at the gym. It's hard to exercise at home with my boys trying to climb all over me.
Trying to watch my eating better too. Guzzling water when I have a craving is helping. I haven't snacked this week like I normally do. Just trying to accomplish a little at a time. :)

Try planks instead of crunches. For exercise routines, google Melissa Bender. She has some really good plans that will help you. Good luck!

Find a staff person at your gym who can show you the machines - they are not as scary as they seem!
