Yay! I've stayed with my plans all week! I've logged my food everyday, tracked my calories, not cheated, and worked out on my treadmill every day!
Best of all, I'm feeling great about it! I'm not craving anything, I'm not exhausted and pushing myself to do this. Instead, I have energy, I'm getting stuff done around the house without dragging and then I get in a good 30 minutes of exercise at the end of the day. Also, I'm sleeping better too!
I feel like I have finally re-found my groove. I know I'll end up slipping at some point, but when I do, I'll just pick myself up and continue where I left off. I'm feeling encouraged about doing this, even if it's only been 3 days. This is best I've felt since my surgery in October and I think I have gotten my commitment back!
Have a great 4th everybody! We don't have any big plans, just gonna enjoy the day off while spending time with family. :)

Good for you!! You have to ride this positive train while you can, and when you do fall off or slip, remember how great you feel now so you can get back on. :)

That's what I'm planning, gotta keep in mind the feeling of success. Speaking of falling...I nearly had a disaster on my treadmill last night! I was walking at a good pace, feeling good, when the treadmill just stopped dead! I almost flipped over the top! Don't know what happened, maybe overheated? Anyway, it started working again within a few seconds, but sure shook me up! (:O

With an attitude like that you most definitely will not fail..keep it up you are on the right track. Are you doing Atkins?

Great job!!

Re-energize--I am not on Adkins, I have restarted what worked for me two years ago. I have cut out pop, limited sweets, increased my intake of fruits and veggies, increased fiber and am tracking calories (I'm trying to stay below 1500 calories). I am also walking/jogging on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I will increase my time as I adjust. I still eat carbs, I just try to have most of my carbs come from fruits, veggies and beans. Any carbs from pasta, bread, etc I try for healthier options. I also HAVE to have a little chocolate or I'll end up failing. I learned that the hard way. :/
